Can I Obtain Real Estate Advice
Without Contacting a REALTOR®


You can't.

Well, that's not completely true. Nearly everybody has real estate advice to offer. Some of it might even be good advice.

You could ask your neighbour or your uncle or the cashier at the grocery store if they have any experience. You could ask your doctor or accountant if they know anything about real estate. They may have had experiences - good and bad - and would likely enjoy sharing the (questionable) benefit of their (limited) experience. Nearly everybody will have an opinion. But whether those opinions hold any value is another thing.

Bottom line - you'll get what you pay for. Free advice is usually not dependable and is free for a reason.

You may think hiring a professional is expensive.
But wait until you hire an amateur.

How do you get the best legal advice? Call a lawyer or paralegal.

How do you get reliable wellness advice? Call a good health care provider.

How do you get dependable financial advice? Call a recommended financial services adviser.

Where to find the best real estate advice?

Call an honest, experienced REALTOR®. And since you shouldn't hire the cheapest doctor, lawyer or financial manager, I suggest that you don't shop for the cheapest real estate agent either.
